About this cottage rental
Great cottage with superb views over open country side. Located mid way between Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the south end of Lake Windermere, the cottage is well equipped & features a large entrance hall, a 2nd wc & washbasin on the ground floor, spacious living room with a wood burning stove, large sun room which can be used as a dining room. Well equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, built in oven & microwave.
Upstairs there is a king double bedroom with its own (2nd) door in to the upstairs bathroom & a large twin bedroom.
One of the sofas in the living room can be used as a large double sofa bed.
The garden is large & enclosed with a long drive way with space for several cars.

I stayed here with my 4 kids (19,18,14 and 12) and dog. 14 and 12 slept on sofa bed in lounge room. Cottage is beautiful and very spacious. Very large garden. Pretty views. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay, peaceful location with great views. The garden was beautiful and our dog enjoyed it, thankfully she couldn’t see the sheep over the wall and hedge.
Easy access to the main road and therefore the lakes.
The cottage itself was very comfortable and well equipped.
