The beds were extremerly comfortable and the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Struggled to get the shower to a comfortable temperature - likely user error.

Kilmorey Lodge offers a very good option for accommodations while in Chester. It is located outside the main touristic area of the city center, with a calm and quiet environment, but still convenient and walkable to shops, points of interest, and the train station. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating, and the building has an historic ambiance.
While the room was generally clean, a little more attention to detail would take it to the next level of niceness - such as new pillows, laundered outer blanket, dusted baseboards, and paint touch up.

The bed was comfortable 😌 , there's a fridge and microwave. The facility is absolutely clean and tidy, spot on.
Room 6 is at the top end not suitable for people with disabilities, I was not well informed on the time of booking. I struggled with my bags while the lady-manager was walking very fast in front of me with nothing not even bothered to offer help, but eager to show me my room. It is positive that teas and coffees are in abundance, but there was no spoon. The room has an outside shared toilet very difficult to flush and needs attention. The bathroom is very tiny with greasy walls.
