Lovely little hotel right in the middle of Chester, handy for pretty much everything. We had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, room had everything we needed. There was a little noise from outside during the night (Tuesday) but it is a city centre location so this was expected. Very close to Chester market which was wonderful for food and drink in the day and evening.
We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food there.

We stayed in room 7 on the second floor.
The view from the window was of bare bick walls, but that wasn't a problem for our 1 night stay.
I think you can pay more for a room overlooking Northgate St and surounding areas.
The room was large with a comfortabe king sized bed and clean sheets.
An ironing board and hairdryer were provided.
The decour was in keeping with a couching house.
The shower/ toilet room was large and clean, wiith shower gel and shampoo provided.
The shower cubicle was large.
Only problem we encountered, was no blind/curtain on the shower/toilet room. It had frosted glass, but we would have liked some sort of cover option.
I used bath towels as a temporary option.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Chester . Room had everything you'd need. The bed was comfy and the staff were all nice. We ate in the pub restaurant
which was great too. The only downside was the noise at night ie. from people in the pub both inside and out, from fellow guests going past the room and from the noisy fridge. If you are willing to take earbuds which we did as we'd read about the noise then this shouldn't be too much of a problem.
