Great location, staff are friendly
I’ve been staying here for years and this latest time it’s feeling very dated! Could do with a refurbishment.

My Son lives near the hotel .

I really like where the hotel is based as its halfway from helensburgh and where my son lives so its convenient for us. Also its a really nice walk to helensburgh The hotel itself is comfortable with what we needed
The hotel does need updating which it looks like thats what's happening, the rooms do need refreshing as we had stains in the carpet but the beds and bathroom were clean

Stunning location, very friendly and helpful staff. The room has a great view over the Clyde, breakfast times were generous(7am to 10am), clean bedding and towels, clean room and bathroom.
Tired room, carpet stained, handles missing on furniture, lightbulbs not working, uncomfortable bed. The village clock sounds every half hour all night. Continental breakfast only served with instant coffee. I wouldn’t normally mind but considering what we paid for the room I would have expected filter coffee at least. Reminder to pop room card into box at door to work lights.
