The "check-in" mechanism is very comfortable, it allows you to enter at your time and pace without problems. The room is extremely clean, the bathroom very big and practical, the kitchenette is very useful to arrange a quick breakfast - but in any case, there's a bakery down the street which is perfect for this purpose. The position is very nice: it's not in Leuven center, but rather in a calm and quite neighborhood. However, there are both the train station and a bus stop 10 steps away to reach the city center. On Sunday you have the street market under the building, which is very convenient to have a short walk for some shopping.
The bathroom door is the only "flaw" I can find. It is an opaque glass door in the room which doesn't guarantee the optimal privacy if you travel with somebody.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was quiet, comfortable, and made me feel relaxed. The facilities were good and everything I needed was available, which made the stay pleasant and stress-free.
The kitchenette was a bit small, but manageable for a short stay.

good location (30 minutes walk to center), property cleanliness (+bathroom toiletries), very comfortable bed, free private car parking (400m away), free bicycle renting option during stay (including private bicycle parking area 400m away), very good communication with owner, access in building via door code, room access via door card, property photos on booking.com are very accurate
there is a public market on Sundays, meaning I had to move the car upon arrival from the parking lot in front of the accommodation to the Boardhouse parking lot (400m away) - leaving the car there would mean getting towed (do not park your car there on Saturday evening!) as the public market covers the entire area around the Boardhousing accommodation and is really busy since very early in the morning

The room itself was great in terms of size and comfort. I also love that they have free laundry. The location isn’t close to the center but is fairly close to a train station and bus.
Arrival and check-in was awful! First, the address on the booking is a few blocks away from where the actual rooms are. There are no instructions online about this and the only indication that you must go to another building is a small map on the door of the address you’re given that doesn’t contain any written information as to why the map there and what you must do. After several knocks on the door and calls to the phone number from the booking that went unanswered, I figured I may as well walk over to the unexplained ‘X’ on the map in hopes that I could check in there. The location with the ‘X’ had a sign with the name of the property which, was promising but, now I was faced with the challenge of getting into the building. No one was at the front desk and there still wasn’t anyone answering the phone. After standing outside for some time, two guests finally walked outside which allowed me to get through the doors. Once inside, I found an envelope with my name, room key, and information about my stay. I can only imagine how long I may have had to remain stranded outside had it not been for the guests that fortunately walked out when they did. This is simply unacceptable! Just in case this all sounds like something that might happen to someone arriving well after business hours, I would like to add that I arrived around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon.
