Absolutely couldn't fault the location of this sweet house. So long as you don't mind steps. But if you're visiting Croatia that's expected. The view from the gardens made me smile every day. The facilities at the house are precisely what you need when self catering. Everything was considered. Fantastic holiday.
Not much. If i was to be very picky. The house would benefit from some extractors in the bathrooms.

I booked this villa by exploring all the exceptional properties in Cavtat. The villa was exactly what we wanted, it was comfortable, well equipped and very central to the town. The combination of air conditioning and a small but deep and hugely refreshing pool was exactly what you need to holiday in this part of Croatia. There are 71 steps up to the property from the town but you are immediately in the town centre close to all the restaurants and the sea, the view was lovely and there are plenty of shaded and tranquil parts to the garden to sit and relax. Nikolina the villa manager was excellent, contacting us before we arrived and making sure that every part of our stay was relaxing and comfortable. I would unreservedly recommend this villa to families with older children or even just to escape!
The walk up the hill was always a drag but you could then get straight into the pool which was a pretty good way to recover

Nikolina, our host, was incredibly kind and helpful. The villa is in the most stunning location with views across Cavtat bay (pronounced Savtat). The master bedroom's balcony with table and chairs on it is a great place for a morning coffee. There are lots of shops, cafes, bars and super yachts visit and dock as it's such a fab destination. We went with our 21-year old and 19-year olds and they enjoyed the freedom of all this close by and two sets of keys were given, so they had their independence. Cavtat is very clean and well kept and we all felt very safe there. Villa Maslina is stylishly decorated and it was wonderful to have air-con in all rooms, with en-suites to each (master with a shower, one double with shower, one double with bath). The pool at the back is larger than it looks in the pictures and was very welcome after the heat of the day. The front gardens are very well maintained (like the back garden) and there is a big amount of outdoor space and different seating areas to enjoy. It is worth noting that there are approx. 70 steps from the harbour to the villa, so it was a good workout for the legs!

The property is idyllic almost like a country house with an amazing outlook over the resort of Cavtat. A few stairs to climb and a bit of a work out when you first bring your luggage, but you get used to it. The gardens are large and well kept. Indoors are all the facilities you could want. We end as a couple, but you could go as a larger group and have your privacy as well as sharing times in the communal areas indoors and out. The swimming pool is a luxurious bonus - not big enough for a swim, but good for a plunge to get out of the heat.
Finally a word for Nikolina who was our host. Communication with her was excellent at both ends of the holiday and she was helpful with a couple of minor things we needed resolving.
