Atmospheric, cozy place with a deep history. Folco is owner, he is amazing friendly and helpful

Folco was the most attentive host I’ve experienced. He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

Maison Orsini is situated in Villaneuve, which is not too far away from old town Avignon and the village itself was very charming so we explored the town a bit and were satisfied with the location. We hadn't stayed in a hotel like Maison Orsini before, which is built in a traditional Provencal styled architecture with mostly wooden furniture interiorly so it was overall a cultural experience for us. We liked the coziness of the place and I think part of it was because how warmly we were received by the host/owner, Folco. He was very attentive and kind during our stay, which we appreciated. The breakfast was great - we especially liked the yogurt, fruits, baguette and coffee. We appreciated having the HVAC in our rooms as the time we visited was in mid-April so the temperature tended to get cooler in the evenings/night-time. Kept us warm and comfortable. The restaurant located with the hotel was also a nice experience with delicious food, great service, view and atmosphere.

We had some difficulty with using the bathroom tub (accidentally flood the bathroom floor one day so had to clean it up; we felt bad for making a mess so we cleaned it ourselves). I think having a shower would be very useful for customers who may have difficulty sitting down in the tub.
