We rented the cottage, it was so nice to have our own space and independence while also benefiting from the shared spaces.
The decor and the atmosphere are so unique, it’s a charming secluded place yet right in a lively neighborhood.
So nice to be offered breakfast in the garden and afternoon tea with home backed cake in the living room.
The team in charge is nice and welcoming, we appreciated the French touch mixed with the Cape vibe.
We liked everything ;-)

Super cute home away from home hotel, in the best area to stay in Cape Town. Our room was super lovely and extremely quiet. I loved the breakfast and the staff was lovely.

Very cute French vibes, lovely quiet garden in an amazing location with everything you need within a short walk.
We repeatedly saw rats running around the garden, up the side of the building and in & out of the bins. We saw them every night of our 4 night stay and so have to assume they are resident here. They didn’t put us off sitting in the garden but we were worried about the possibility of rats in the room/the living area where food was left out for breakfast and snacks. We were careful not to leave food in the room or leave the door & window unattended but it only takes one less careful guest for them to take up residence in the rooms.
Additionally, when booking we missed that there was no air con in the room we booked, given AC is listed on the property details as a whole. The ceiling fan was too noisy but they provided an additional standing fan which meant we were able to sleep comfortably in the summer heat even without air con.
