Our family had second unforgettable stay at this apartment. It is, without a doubt, one of the best places we have ever stayed at in Austria.
🏔️ Location and Atmosphere
The house is situated in an elevated, strategic position that offers a stunning panoramic view of the lake. It is just a 3-minute drive from the center of Zell am See, yet it feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. The silence is absolute, broken only by the sound of birds chirping. It provides a true sense of privacy and tranquility.
🏡 Interior and Amenities
The apartment was spotlessly clean and designed with a wonderful eye for detail. The rooms are incredibly cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the high-quality mattresses and fluffy duvets – they guaranteed a perfect night's sleep.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with high-end appliances and every utensil you could possibly need.
Garden: A real masterpiece! Beautifully landscaped with flowers and charming decorations – a true paradise for the eyes (and great for photos).
⛷️ Skiing and Activities
For skiers, the location is unbeatable. With a single pass (the Alpin Card), you can access three major regions: Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn), and Zell am See, totaling about 408 km of slopes! With a small surcharge, you can even expand your access further.
FOR NOT SKIERS: a lot of possibilities to strall.around - Zell am See round tour is 11 km even walk, Klamsee is 45 min, The Golden Gate of the Alps is also a nice easy direction for a walk...

Strongly recommend this apartment. Hosts are very kind and will give you all the informations necessary. Room is big, warm (heaters) equipped with all stuff that you'll need - kitchen, big wardrobes, comfortable beds, good wifi, relaxing bathtub etc. Good value for money ratio. But the most important - THE VIEW. The best in Zell Am See. It was a pleasure to spend ski holidays there. 7 mins car distance to center, 20 mins walking distance.
Uphill driveway to apartment could be chalenging to low experienced drivers. I had no problem with 4WD car and winter tires, road is cleaned every day at 7AM, but with harsh snow conditions, it could be hard to drive up/down without snow tire chains. Passing 2 cars in this driveway is chalenging :)

Die Unterkunft war nicht nur wunderschön und gepflegt, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Bar – hier herrschte eine unglaublich nette Atmosphäre, das Personal war herzlich und aufmerksam, und die Drinks waren top! Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben.
Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich – liebevoll angerichtet, mit hochwertigen Zutaten und viel Auswahl. Auch das Abendessen hat uns begeistert, besonders die Wildgerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich ein Genuss. Eine Unterkunft, die nicht nur durch Atmosphäre, sondern auch durch ihre Küche überzeugt!
