Honestly it was so phenomenal that it is hard to describe. Everything is beautifully thought out, from the beautiful design of the buildings to the gorgeous handtowels and all with sustainability in mind. And you are in the middle of the jungle, wandering across bamboo bridges and stairs to visit the breakfast restaurant (both restaurants and the bar have excellent food and drinks, lots of vegetarian and healthy options also suitable for kids) down the river next to the amazing natural pools. We had a old javan house upstairs that overlooked the rice fields next to it. The pictures don’t do the place justice.
And staff is wonderful (Devi, Meri, Indra, honestly everyone) and great with kids. They really made our stay incredible.

Great location, jungle setting, natural pools.
Bambu Indah has been considerably developed since our last stay there 2 years ago. It has gone from feeling like a boutique small hotel to a resort feel with lots of people coming and going in ‘day pass’. We stayed in the Swift and Starljng rooms which had no outlook and no windows - it was like staying in a cave. Very disappointed compared to the original rooms like tent, moon and copper and poor value for money IMHO.
