Kayumanis Ubud Private Villas & Spa

Great private villas, location is fabulous, within a forest, very quiet, restaurant is amazing, and spa experience was out of this world (massage with view on the forest). Staff was outstanding. Always smiling and helpful

The staff are awesome, they went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety.

The room had a bit of a strong smell, maybe due to the humidity, but it didn’t spoil our stay.

We had a truly fantastic and memorable stay at Kayumanis Ubud Private Villa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team. The hospitality was excellent, from the front desk staff to the gardeners and the staff at the dining area, everyone was friendly. A special mention goes to the front desk staff who were exceptionally courteous and patient, always taking the time to answer our questions and ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The villa was very well maintained. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable queen size bed and a single bed. While the ambience was cosy, the lighting in the bedroom was slightly dim. Both the bedroom and the open living room had televisions. Since the villa in the midst of a forest, there are lots of insects, flies especially in the evening. We could also hear the frog croaking at night which was disturbing. The villa has a private pool, which had a depth of 1.4 metres. There was a visible no diving sign placed near the pool for safety. Although we were unsure whether the pool was cleaned daily, it appeared well maintained and clean. Pool towels were provided and replaced daily. The villa also had a cooker hob available. However, we did not find any cooking utensils during our stay. Since we did not plan to cook, we did not check further with the staff, but it may be worth clarifying if cooking is part of your plans. Towels, bottled water, soft drinks and fruit juices were replenished daily. The shower is designed as an open concept, which creates a unique tropical experience, though families travelling with children may find it slightly less private. Amenities such as dental kits, shower caps, toiletries and ear buds were all provided and refilled everyday. Breakfast had a good variety of options, including few choices suitable for vegetarians. The Kayumanis toast is definitely worth trying, especially if you enjoy sweet breakfast options, it was one of the highlights of our mornings.
