It was very enjoyable.

In Reception was one nice, neat and smile guy. He explained everything very fast and professional.
I was in Hotel at 14.04.2026-15.04.2026. Breakfast was amazing and very delicious. Staff cleaned tables on time.
Room surprised me. I thought the room would be smaller, but it turned out to be, on the contrary, very comfortable and large.
I saw ants in the dining room and in my room and, frankly speaking, I was very upset because such a small thing spoiled a very good impression.

The location was convenient & a 15 minute walk to the centre, along a beautiful river & gardens. The superior room was a good size & nice to have a balcony even if it looked over the car park. Tea & coffee making facilities provided & complimentary water. We used the pool, sauna & relaxation facilities although they were very busy & had to wait for loungers. Robe & slippers provided.
The parking is an issue, limited car park for which the charge is €25 per night, very expensive. The alternative is on the road which again has very limited free spaces. We did not try the breakfast as too expensive at €26 EACH! We walked into town each morning for a coffee & croissant @ €7 each. The bathroom was freezing, the tiled floor very cold & no heating, not even the towel rail. The towels used for shower are way too small, more like a large hand towel, these days a bath sheet is expected.

very poor communication between front desk, housekeeping and maintenance departments. Room was found open on 4 consecutive days after cleaners do the daily cleaning. Reported this to several members of staff of front desk and also housekeeping but to no avail. Nobody checks and room was left open still. On 4th day, I started shouting at reception and that was when action was taken and on the 6th and 7th night of my stay, a member of staff was physically checking that room was closed after cleaner. Door lock was never repaired during my stay as maintenance said that they needed to change the door.....case of lack of will to address issue as this was only a stupid excuse. Lock worked perfectly when banging or pulling door. Got a 7% discount on the total of my stay which i did not argue about as I was checking out....and had no intention to do so.....ultimately the experience was ruined.
