Breakfast was good. Not exceptional though.
All the basics were there.

Very friendly staff.
We stayed two nights. Our room was cleaned but not thoroughly (bin wasn’t emptied … including baby paper that was in there) a lot of dust under the bed.
We indicated that we were traveling with a baby and they provided a single bed but not a baby bed …
There was a wellness areas though there was
No bathrobe nor slippers in the room. In the wellness area there were no towels when we were there neither.

The Hotel itself is impressive, beautiful building, foyer, bar , restaurant and an amazing spa in a really lovely location. The public spaces were all very impressive. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely although some staff were a little abrupt and service sometimes slow. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Loved the aspect of the restaurant looking out on to the garden with huge trees.
We booked a double comfort room which was hugely disappointing compared to the rest of the image of the hotel. It was very dated, tired and had a horrible smell and we felt that we could not enjoy our weekend if we had to stay in this room so we had to upgrade. Ended up in a sauna suite which was bright and large and much more comfortable but still would say that it did not live up to how the rest of the hotel was presented for the money we spent.

Very professional and friendly staff, ready to accommodate special requests and help in case (as it was the case) an unexpected situation (my son got sick during our stay).
Outstanding breakfast.
Just being picky, there may be room for improvement on the darkening of the room during the night (a/c, TV stand-by light and window curtain)

Room was lovely, building lovely.
Bar was closed on a sunday. Breakfast was very expensive , Drains in shower smelled.
