Een fijne centrale locatie in een prachtige omgeving. Vanuit het appartement sta je middenin het gezellige centrum van Vaals. Wij kwamen er om te wandelen en dat kun je uitstekend doen in de omgeving. Tip: neem de bus naar Gulpen en wandel via het Krijtlandpad terug. Of neem de bus naar Slenaken voor een andere tak van het Krijtlandpad terug naar Vaals. Geweldig mooi! In het appartement is alles wat je nodig hebt. De badkamer is wat krapjes, niet voor heel lange mensen, maar alles is er. Heerlijk dakterras, fijne woonkamer, comfortabel bed en een keuken met alle gemakken. Alles zeer smaakvol ingericht. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en reageren snel en vriendelijk op vragen. Echt een aanrader, ofwel dit appartement Mergelhoek 2 of anders dat op de begane grond Mergelhoek 1. Allebei anders en allebei geweldig.

Clean and tidy with a certain rustic charm. The host is very thoughtful leaving basic supplies for you which if you are a late arrival you would certainly appreciate. Car parking is provided so you don't have to move your car, or worry about that aspect. Location if you want to "conquer" the Vaalserberg on foot is ideal. Albert Heijn Supermarket within in 10 minute walking distance. Cannot fault the apartment, host or location.
I found the stairs quite steep with my creaky knees, and the apartment is 2 floors up. Something those of you who are less mobile need to consider maybe.

Heel wat lekkers extra gratis bij ontvangst gekregen :-)
De badkamer was iets aan de kleine kant, maar werkte perfect.
Geen zonsverduistering in de kamer.

Excellent location in the city center. Private parking with the possibility of storing bicycles in the building. Excellent host, we received all the necessary instructions. The apartment is spacious and comfortable (kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, large terrace), comfortable, clean and tidy and has absolutely everything you need for a pleasant stay and much more than you expect. Since we arrived late in the afternoon, we were greeted by a full fridge and lots of sweets so we didn't have to go to the store right away. Thank you very much! Accommodation in this apartment is also a good starting point for the Vennbann cycling route.
