Hotel Alpine

The location fit our travel plans perfectly and the scenery here is just breathtaking! Nice facility and wonderful breakfast with lots of food choices - with a glorious view from the dining area.

we were in an attic-type room with openable roof windows. Only negative was that those windows were big up so no good vie of the mountains except when standing on a bench

Beautiful surrounding mountains, a very nice breakfast and breakfast area, lots of parking, and a good place to stay in the area. Close to Mangrt pass and Bovec. Nice walk through the Koritnica valley right out of the back door.

This was a stay in a small small town, not a boutique hotel or luxury by any means. The beds were hard and the rooms were small. The restaurant also closed for the season at the start of September so you will have to go into Bovec for food. It is so close to Bovec that I would probably recommend just staying in Bovec if you want something a bit nicer.

Amazing, helpful and laid back staff was highly appreciated! They happily helped us with all our requests and questions. Room was cozy and spacious with a beautiful views on the mountains. Breakfast was delicious although not very versatile but it was enough. This area is breathtaking and we would choose the hotel again. We didn’t eat in their restaurant but the pizza looked amazing. It’s possible to do nice little walks around the hotel and it’s also pet friendly. Highly highly recommended! Also thanks to Ian (or Jan?) for accommodating our requests.

Breakfast very good!

The location is a small village, with few restaurants and bars. Lack of curtains on the windows, so it gets bright in the early morning. Also the room gets quite warm when the whether is sunny, so you need to keep the windows open also during the night. No air conditioning available. WiFi in room working only sometimes; also TV was disconnected, No presence of hotel personnel during the night. Definitively price too high for what is offered.
