We stayed at To Stefani Tis Makris for a few days in August, and the experience was unforgettable. The place is often called “the balcony of Volos”—and it truly deserves the name. The view over the sea and the surrounding nature is something you don’t just see, you feel. It’s the kind of view that makes you sit down, breathe a little slower, and just take everything in.
But what made the experience unforgettable were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, in that effortless way that makes you feel less like a guest and more like an old friend returning home.
Everything was taken care of with such grace and warmth. You can tell that this place is cared for with love, and perhaps by someone with a certain natural charm that is hard not to notice—though I’ll leave it at that. 😊
If you’re looking for a place to relax, feel inspired, and be treated with true Greek hospitality, this is the one. I can’t wait to return.

Vassilis was incredibly helpful and generous. Even in odd hours, he helped me with my car issues. He didn't go to sleep till he was sure we were OK!
The place is quiet, neat, beautiful, awsome views and well organized.

מתחם מטופח ומיוחד, חדרים מושקעים ונוחים. לקחנו שלש דירות , שתיים חדשות יותר ואחת בית עתיק משופץ, כל הדירות מאובזרות מרווחות ונוחות, המתחם נקי מסודר ומעוצב בטוב טעם, נוף מהמתחם על וולוס והמפרץ. חנייה בקרבת מקום .
ישנה עלייה לא מסודרת בין החנייה למתחם המגורים של כ 40 מטר .
