Perfect location, quiet, comfortable, very clean inside. Obviously all of the dishes had been checked for cleanliness, they were spotless 😊
Very quirky bathroom setup, but felt sorry for the occupants of the cells back in the day. We enjoyed reading the history and viewing the plan of the building, very interesting.
It was very difficult to close and open the curtains in the twin room because a bed was in the way.
Just one misleading piece of information, it mentions a wood fire and shows images on all websites of a fire in the fireplace. I understand why you would make it so it can’t be used, but we were a bit disappointed being country people.

Good location in a lovely town. Nice welcome pack
The description of the property does not state that it fronts onto a road with a school opposite, and that the outside area and bedrooms look out onto these. This means that there is a lack of privacy and it can be noisy during the school day. The interior photos are different from what's there now and we found the interior gloomy with not enough lighting. Finally, the kitchen was looking tired and the bathroom is not particularly appealing (although it is accessible).
