Wonderfull small place , nice staff, good breakfast but we had trouble with the showers

The staff were so lovely and helpful. The location is perfect. It's in a quiet, safe residential street, but only a 10 min walk to the station or the centre of town. Breakfast was great. Room and bed were very comfortable.
My only suggestion would be having breakfast available a bit earlier. Doesn't start until 8am, which is a bit late if you have a day trip planned.

The guest house was clean and welcoming. The young girl that checked us in was very helpful and informative. We had three good nights sleep and enjoyed our breakfast on each morning with friendly staff. The location was great for access to city centre with a lovely riverside walk and easy to walk from train station. We thought it offered excellent value.
Only comment that shower cubicle had quite a raised metal seal

Very quiet. The breakfast was good and on-site staff very friendly and helpful.
Cramped .The shower was hot but very weak. Access to our first floor room was up some very steep and narrow stairs. Parking is difficult and inadequate for the number of guests. The owner is not on site and has to be contacted via an AI answering machine and when he does respond is not at all helpful eg there were no parking spaces available although I had purchased a permit and he told me I would have to park in a public car park two streets away (at 10.30pm).
