Stunning old but well kept build with traditional Italian architecture and interior decor, ornate finishing and marble statues etc. Incredible views across stunning lake Maggiore

Amazing location -beautiful rooms exquisitely appointed. This is the real 5*.
I had the chance to receive a deep tissue massage from Monsieur Eric, who turned out to be an osteopath and a skilled physiotherapist! He worked magic on my shoulders' and upper back!
The breakfast used to be better, for example the scrambled eggs are made out of powder...
