This facility was lovingly refurbished and it is absolutely beautiful. In fact, we rearranged our vacation plans so we could stay here. The host is the kindest soul we met in Italy. The apartment is large and carefully laid out. Location is ideal as it is in the very center of the historic district. Easy to wander the streets of the district and you can access the Lucca wall, walk as long as you'd like and come back to the center and the apartment. Two days in this place weren't long enough.

Our stay in lucca was amazing. Simone helped with suggestions on where to eat, all excellent choices, and a little history of the area.He also arranged a wine tasting tour and transported us there and back. Outstanding service from a really kind and helpful man.The apartment was clean, well equipped and central for getting around the city.Thanks again Simone for such a wonderful stay.
The apartment is run by a charity which helps people, particularly those struggling with mental health issues.Simone is at the forefront of this and shows compassion and empathy to everyone he meets.He asked for an honest and constructive feedback with any suggestions to improve his guests accommodation. Everything was perfect and all I could recommend is that the towels were left to dry fully be fore storing them as ours were a little fusty. 😃
