The location was perfect, we didn't actually realise it was as central to Lucca as it was. The piazza was vibrant and busy with the flower market which we loved for sitting at the balcony morning and early evening! The bed was comfy and we had all we needed for our short stay
There was no kettle to make a cup of tea - only coffee equipment. Fresh pastries for the first morning would have been a nice touch, the packet pastries we didn't use

There is no staff and the instructions for getting in were not clear at all. It's basically an Airbnb type place, up a loooong flight of stairs and no elevator. Fantastic location, though.

* They left breakfast for the 2 days we stayed there: fruit, pastries, bread, coffee and ham/cheese which was great!
* Staff is lovely and timely, they gave us the room earlier than arranged.
* Great location, very safe and close to everything
* [UNRELATED TO THE PROPERTY]: This is not related to the property but to the city in general, it's hard to get transportation if you're leaving early or late at night. You'll have to walk with suitcases.
