About this cottage rental
For those who want a non-touristic experience of beautiful Corfu, this traditional, unspoilt village offers peaceful holidays whilst being 5 minutes drive from one of the most beautiful beaches of Corfu, Agio Gordios, and 15 minutes drive from Corfu town and airport! The house is dated in the 1800s. Our great-grandfather was the mayor Corfu, and while living in this house helped Princess Sissy and Keizer of Austria build their famous Achillion village, and a copy of Keiser's offer of honour to our grandfather is in the house! The house was renovated in the 90s and has all the modern facilities. It sleeps 6 people. There is one room with one double bed, one room with two single beds, and one smaller room (no window but with AC) with bunkbeds. Check in: After 14:00, check out: till 12:00

The house is a good size for a family with a double bedroom and another with twin beds. There is more space if needed. There is a small patio at the back with seats and a drying rack, overlooking a deep green valley. There is air conditioning, wifi, and a large kitchen and living area. Also there is a parking space.
We loved it because it was very Greek and in a friendly village with some shops and bars and plenty of locals to say hello to.
Also it is near some lovely beaches, just 10 mins drive from Agios Gordios and other beaches.
Also our hosts were super helpful, responding to all requests promptly, and leaving very useful hints of places to go.
