We liked the location. Slightly outside town but the bus stop is in front of hotel and public transport is free for tourists in the entire Salzburgerland. It is about 20 mins by bus (4 per hour) to go to the centre. Walking into town through fields and along a lovely lake takes about an hour. Further walks along mostly quiet roads and paths direct from pension are possible to Hellbrunn Palace and to cable car up the Untersberg. Breakfast was always good with outstanding home-made cakes. Owners are extremely nice and helpful.
A bit more information about the walking options would have been useful.

Authentic Austrian decor. Our room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was large and very clean. Our room was in the back and had a great view. The breakfast room was great and the breakfast was wonderful. The location is very peaceful and relaxing in a nice residential neighborhood not far from the Salzburg center. The is a bus stop right out front so very convenient.
