Le clos de l'olivier

The breakfast was great and our host was wonderful and very accommodating. The neighborhood had a number of restaurants and we felt very safe. It was a short east walk to the subway. We would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a cute, modern french style place. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, but has a metro nearby to get into Paris.

Narrow steep stairs to get to the rooms, there is also no hand rail on the staircase which makes bringing luggage up & down a bit precarious.

It's a reasonable price for Paris although it felt a bit short on the expectations when reading previous reviews. Beds were extremely comfortable, however, the bedroom decor seemed a bit outdated, the bedroom didn't get fully dark with the curtains and a few details that required maintenance as well. Breakfast was OK - don't expect big variety. 30-40min walking distance from Eiffel tower (just for your reference) - easy to walk until there! The guesthouse has a really nice indoor patio that couldn't be used due to the weather. With a few improvements could be way better!

Decor seemed a bit outdated, old curtains, a few details requiring maintenance.

I so enjoyed my stay here. The room was whisper quiet and cleaned to an exceptionally high standard every day. Haude provided delicious breakfasts, and helped me work out which Metro to get to my destinations. I cannot recommend Le clos de l’olivier highly enough.
