The room was as expected and nicely furnished. David the owner was welcoming from an initial text following our booking to greeting us on the day of arrival. It was especially good that there was plenty of parking, we arrived in two cars due to travelling from different locations and this was accommodated. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. I had a full English breakfast and it was well presented and delicious. I would recommend Coombe House and would choose to stay there again myself.

David our host was really welcoming especially to my elderly mother. He helped with luggage and even gave her a birthday card and cake as it was her 90th birthday whilst we were there

A beautiful house located far enough from the village centre to be quiet but near enough to walk to the many restaurants and pubs. David was a great host who provided us with all the local info we needed to make the most of our stay. Our room was more than adequate and the breakfasts excellent. We will certainly stay again.
Nothing we didn’t like, but an EV charger would be useful.
