best location in front of river and the bakery. room is basic and small but maybe its the case for all old (but charming) premise like this. we love the location. overlooking the river and just opposite of The bakery which is famous for breakfast or coffee

Great location nice stream in front of hotel, great staff friendly and great breakfast. Toilet is quite small but neat. On the day we went it was pretty hot with no air conditioning unit but it's bearable. Should have access security for the main gate to the rooms as there was a strange guy followed us and my daughter told me that he signaled my daughter to go downstairs. My daughter was scared. So we had to make sure the door was chained. The rest was great.

We booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 at the Old Manse Hotel and requested that we have adjacent rooms (once during the booking process once via email prior to our arrival- both times the hotel confirmed). When we arrived, we were given a large room at the front of the hotel overlooking the river, and the other a really small, somewhat tired room at the very back of the hotel- overlooking the carpark. I'm not sure why our request for adjacent rooms wasn't fulfilled, but it was a bit of a challenge communicating with the young lady at check in (even though we speak English). Despite this, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was delicious.

Very conveniently located to buses connecting to other villages. Pub and restaurant open till 7:30pm in winter. Be ready for early dinner or head to nearby Willow which closes later.
