Devecchi Rooms has a perfect central location. The day before we arrived, I received a message giving detailed directions on how to find the property. We had one of the three rooms -- it was beautifully decorated and spacious. It has a partial sea view. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet in spite of the fact that it is located in a fairly busy walking area. The property even has a small elevator so we didn't have to lug our suitcases up stairs.
The young lady (Matea) looking after us was very friendly and welcoming. She provided us with breakfast that included a variety of options.
This is a good choice for anyone visiting Hvar.
The only thing is that we stayed two nights and the rooms was not freshened or cleaned the second day. It wasn't a problem for us, however.

Location was fabulous, close to everything we wanted. Our host Matea was great to communicate with, giving very clear instructions on how to check in, directions to avoid steps with luggage etc. Staff onsite were also lovely and friendly. Our room was very clean with comfortable bed etc. Continental Breakfast was well stocked, and we highly recommend the scrambled eggs. We loved our stay, and would definitely book here again.

Location was great, just a few steps from the waterfront and all the activity there.
There was a horrible rotten smell, like a dead rat or something like that, in the room throughout the stay. Turning the air conditioner off, despite that being uncomfortable, didn’t help. The host acknowledged the smell but couldn’t accommodate us in a different room as all other rooms were taken. Keeping the windows open, while dealing with the street noise, was the only way to survive in the room. Terrible experience unfortunately.
