Both apartments were clean, cute, cozy and comfortable. We liked that we were able to cook breakfast and that there was coffee readily available.
It was a bit of a challenge to find where the keys were, maybe more so because it was already dark when we arrived driving from Paris. The driveway was also quite narrow so it wasn't easy bringing down luggage from the van, as we could only park it by the gate. Other than those, we had a great 2-night stay in Givernel.

For one night, it’s a decent place to stay and it’s within walking distance of Monet’s house and the Museum of Impressionism. In the photos, it definitely looks much cozier and newer than it is in reality.
A very strong, loud and unpleasant automatic air freshener in the hallway, and the bathroom is located inside one of the bedrooms, which isn’t very convenient for all guests.

There were 2 bedrooms nicely decorated and the kitchen area had plenty of equipment. The TV had Netflix so that you could sign in with your own details or use theirs (in French).
The property is directly on a main road which was busy and very noisy at night. Fast cars racing at 4.00am! Drunks out shouting on the street at 2.00am! The toilet was separate from the shower room and away from the bedrooms. Car parking was available but the access was very tight when you have a car bigger than a small saloon. This is the first time we have ever been left a message to strip the beds on our departure. Surely this is unhygenic as the host doesn't know if the guests have clean hands when handling the duvets, pillows, etc! We also did not get to meet the hosts and had to ring them to get the number to the key box as it did not arrive in our booking.com account until quite some time after we had arrived.
