Exactly as described! The host was very responsive.

It was a perfect one night stay to visit Monet's house and gardens, right near the little river and an easy walk to town that evening for dinner. It was very quiet at night, and I had a lovely moment on our walk back under a full moon across from cattle in the meadow, feeling like we had slipped back in time. The beds were comfy, bathrooms convenient, kitchen had what we needed.

The house was chilly when we arrived, but our host responded right away to let us know what to do and it warmed right up. I wished we had a smaller car as we first tried to find the driveway (more clear signs or photos so we know what to look for?) and then park, it was a bit tricky but pulled it off! Overall a very pleasant stay ideally located.

We arrived in a large car. It was impossible to drive into the property’s parking area through the narrow entrance, which I do not recall being mentioned in the property description.

There were 2 bedrooms nicely decorated and the kitchen area had plenty of equipment. The TV had Netflix so that you could sign in with your own details or use theirs (in French).

The property is directly on a main road which was busy and very noisy at night. Fast cars racing at 4.00am! Drunks out shouting on the street at 2.00am! The toilet was separate from the shower room and away from the bedrooms. Car parking was available but the access was very tight when you have a car bigger than a small saloon. This is the first time we have ever been left a message to strip the beds on our departure. Surely this is unhygenic as the host doesn't know if the guests have clean hands when handling the duvets, pillows, etc! We also did not get to meet the hosts and had to ring them to get the number to the key box as it did not arrive in our booking.com account until quite some time after we had arrived.
