A L'ecole Buissonniere

Was it a hotel or was it a very upmarket B&B? No matter, Frank and Sylvia's home was fabulous. Beautiful courtyard garden for breakfast and relaxation. Parking. Easy walk into town. Very few rooms but ours was lovely.

I should have and could have asked for more coffee pods. But everything was beautifully done.

The property is ideally located, taking just a few minutes to walk into town. No road noise and blackout blinds make for a peaceful night’s sleep. Private parking and lovely hosts that made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was typically French, served in a warm and inviting room. We would definitely book again if we returned to Honfleur.

There was nothing “ not to like “. Not a criticism, but my partner and I both sleep with two pillows and only one was provided ( although in touring France we have found this to be the case ). I’m 100% sure, if I’d asked, providing more would not have been a proper.

Nicely restored hotel with all the modern conveniences. We opted for a spacious wood panelled 1 bedroom suite with a large bedroom and separate living room surrounded by divided light windows featuring charming neighborhood views. We loved the ambience and appreciated the super friendly and helpful staff(owners) who helped make the stay extra memorable. Location is walkable to everywhere and parking is secure on the grounds. Delicious breakfast with fresh orange juice was included. If you want to feel a bit more connected with Honfleur during your stay, this is the hotel to choose.
