La Cour Sainte Catherine demeure de charme

Very beautiful old house, pretty terrace, very cosy, friendly host. Very good location.

Breakfast could be better, considering that it is charming place, e.g no local cheese, no eggs, no local yoghurts (Danone is not good, I can eat that in my country), not natural orange juice but good croissant/pain au chocolat and home made cakes (very good!).

Room lovely, but many stairs, beware if you have heavy luggage. Location quiet, but very very close to the center (5 min walk). Splendid view to either side (we had two rooms facing both). No air condition but also no mosquitos, so we slept quietly with the windows open. French breakfast in the beautiful blooming garden

Pillows way to big for my liking. You need to inform the property in advance if you arrive late. Luckily the owners were kind enough to accommodate my last minute late arrival request

The location of the apartment in Honfleur made it walkable to everything. Having private parking was also a plus.

Our apartment was in a seperate building out on the street a few doors up, it was not a part of the courtyard/garden area so the atmosphere of the place was not a part of our experience, but if you like the privacy of not being a part of the main place, then it is okay. Part of the reason I booked this place was because of the beautiful garden courtyard area. The stairs in the apartment were incredible steep with narrow treads, making them feel unsafe and disconnecting the upstairs from the living space. There were no pods for the dishwasher, and no plug for the sink, so cleaning dishes was harder than it needed to be. Attention to detail was lacking; one and a bit rolls of toilet paper for 6 nights, very few coffee pods, light fittings not working, no chopping board or scissors. When travelling from overseas these essentials are not something we travel with. You book an apartment, not a hotel room so you have these things available to you. Disappointing.
