Blue Karma Dijiwa Ubud

Booked this for first 3 nights of our honeymoon so this was a splurge, esp considering there are cheaper places in Ubud. The room was beautiful as was the downstairs bathroom. loved the centre bed. We had breakfast included and that was fresh & tasty. We were able to rent scooters from the property to explore the surrounding area, & a taxi pickup. I had a parcel delivered for a camera lens and they were super chill with that.

There were renovations in the property nxt door so some construction work, though that is probably over by now.

The staff were amazing from beginning to end, nothing was too big or small and the hospitality was consistently so good. The rooms, pool, food all exceptional. Green, peaceful and UBud is easily accessible via grab app or hotel shuttles.

Beautiful property. Away from all the noise of Ubud.

- Peaceful Location: Situated in a quiet area a few kilometers from Ubud, ideal for escaping the noise of the town. - Well-Maintained Garden: The garden was described as well-kept, adding to the aesthetic and ambiance. - Appealing Pool Area: The pool looked great and included comfortable beds for lounging. - Restaurant Quality : The food served at the restaurant was tasty and well prepared—this was noted as the highlight of the stay. - Friendly Staff: The team was generally warm and helpful in their approach.

- Subpar Room: Rooms were close together and poorly soundproofed, affecting privacy and quietness. - Unpleasant Odor in Bungalow: A persistent bad smell in the room, even with ventilation. - Inconsistent Hot Water Supply: No hot water on the first day and long waits afterward to get it working. - Overpriced Restaurant Offerings: Prices were notably high—especially for items like local wine (780,000 IDR + tax), which was more expensive than in comparable places in Ubud. - Overzealous Service: Staff occasionally lacked discretion, seeming unsure when to step back. - Mismatch in Expectations: Overall ambiance and service were more reminiscent of a countryside guesthouse than a genuine four-star resort.
