Wonderful old property with atmosphere

Friendly host. Interesting old house with use of comfortable sitting room in addition to room rented. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Advise parking in underground "Parking de l'Arquebuse" by CGR Cinema (free and plenty of space) on arrival and walk to property(about 3-4minutes walk). Parking on street near property very restricted and only a couple of places at the property which may be already taken.

Breakfast was plentiful, yet lacking help our third morning.
- [ ] Difficult check in because of language
- [ ] During check in, we were shown the kitchen because we were told if we wanted something there, please feel free. It was soooo messy…
- [ ] Shared bathroom - didn’t notice that fact when I booked. And I keep forgetting to bring a towel to dry my hands…
- [ ] Usually bumped my head when I got in or out of bed
- [ ] Didn’t find mirror in room until third evening, so had to wait to use bathroom to primp
- [ ] Linens drying on all two floors of banisters and railings
- [ ] Had to wear slippers, even on the stairs to the third floor, which were sloped the wrong way
- [ ] Napkins were paper towels. A paper napkin should be used at least for such an elegant dining room.
- [ ] The salon had a strong smell of mold in it. I have a health issue with mold so I couldn’t enjoy the room
