The site if very nice, beautiful views with access to the lake directly across the road. We stayed in the chalets near the pool which were very reasonably priced but could do with a little love and attention. They had everything you would need but some redecorating would be good.
Very safe park, lovely clean amenities and the pool was nice but closes at 7 - I would have like it to be open until 8 as it is still very warm and if you are out exploring for the day it would be nice to have time for a swim in the evening when you get back.
Good shop on site with most things you would need - reasonably priced.
The pizzas were great in the restaurant.
In hindsight a car would have been helpful for us - taxis are expensive. You can walk to the port (Portese) in 5 minutes to get the boat across the lake to other towns.

we had a quite unpleasant experience while leaving the camping - on the departure day we wanted to leave the camping during the night in order to avoid traffic on the way home. Even though we announced that fact to the camping personell, when coming to the main gate at 3h30 at night, the gate was closed and we were not able to open it with any of our apartment keys, neither with any button or function from inside. the gate only opened at 6h in the morning automatically, therefore we lost quite some time.... - this was very unpleasant. I imagine if you have a real emergency, a sick child or similar during the night, and you can not leave the camping with your car - without calling the police - this is unacceptable. The personell should have warned us.

The views over the lake were fabulous. The pool area was a favourite for our little girl.
The chalet we stayed in could have been cleaner, especially the floors.
