Just the grounds were fantastic, beautiful building, but more than I think but the staff
When we arrived, there was a bit of a mixup regarding the room I booked a Booking.com and what Hartwell house had arranged
It was Valentine’s weekend and I was very disappointed that what I was expecting was not what we got
I explained it to the gentleman who brought us to the room and right away he went to the Management and discussed it or I’ve got a call within minutes
They explain that the building was fully booked and there was not a lot they could do. I explain my frustration. And I was disappointed
The manager said to give her a few minutes and she see what she could do
Again within moments, I got a callback and they rectify the issue

No hassle
Efficient, professional and how a facility should run
I can’t thank them enough
The room is spectacular and exactly what I was expecting
I will be returning without shadow of doubt

Staff were most welcoming and gave us a tour of the main building. Our suite was extremely comfortable and well appointed.
Dinner was superb accompanied by a good selection of wines.

The hotel is steeped in history and well worth a visit. Ethan and Sonnel are great ambassadors to the hotel. It is a lovely hotel to escape for a break.
It is a bit pricey and lacks a selection of glassware for a 5 star hotel. The room did not have a fridge but Ethan kindly found a small one for the room. A five star hotel should have a fridge in the room.
