Room is large and comfortable. Centrally located and about a mile from cruise terminal and Centraal train station. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.

Everything was good but I booked this room thinking there will be a terrace. And in fact there was a terrace except the door was closed and couldn't be opened. We parked our car at the parking lot inside the hotel but we found out that someone swung a glass bottle on our car. Due to snow we could see but when we arrived back to our home there were particles of glass everywhere on the top of the car with many scratches. Who can possibly do this kind of behavior?

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel because this is a four star hotel but two star for staff altitude or service. My family stayed for 3 nights. The drainage of the shower in the toilet was poor. The shower gel bottle was poorly designed. It has a very short neck bottle. You needed to press it many times before you got a reasonable amount of shampoo/shower gel on hand. The bottle fell on to the ground whenever you pressed the bottle hard. It didn’t seemed an individual problem. It is the design problem. We didn’t mention to the staff because we have a tidy schedule in going out. I mentioned to the staff when we check out. I never meant to make a complaint. Just wanted to remind the staff to fix the problem. However, in return without getting any thank you or apology, I got blamed for not mentioning the problem earlier. Besides, there was no signage that the bike rack is enclosed within an area under the covered garbage corner at the open carpark. We have to go inside the smelly garbage corner before able to see the bike rack. I asked the staff for at least twice and they keep telling me that it is at one corner of the carpark. Because we couldn’t find the location and there is no signage, we locked our bikes at a corner outside the laundry room in the open carpark. Make sure that we didn’t block any exit or passage. At the end of our second day, we got blamed that we are locking our bikes in the smoking area. I couldn’t find any signage for smoking space. Probably that is the space for that particular staff to smoke only. We didn’t meant to lock our bike in that way because simply we couldn’t find the rack due to lack of signage. There was a very big jar of water (>40L) at the reception provided for customers to drink. There was no signage for “not for fill up bottle”. I filled up a 500ml bottle when I went out for cycling in convenient. The staff was obviously unhappy and told me that the was not for filling up a bottle. Upon arrival, the staff didn’t check whether the booking reservation match the name of the customer. They checked only with surname. Our booking was used by another customer who has the same surname. It didn’t matter much because at the end they changed the correct payment card. But this may reflects how staff do things carelessly. I could only give 2 stars for the service and star only.
