Homely room and friendly host
Nice towels and toiletries and bathroom was spacious
Make up towel and cleansing pads and buds
Cold water left in the fridge
Breakfast was great, nice choice of cereals and nice greek yoghurt and blueberries too
Cooked breakfast was yummy too
Squeaky floorboards
Would be nice to have a tissue box in the room

Excellent breakfast and comfortable room host and staff great really entertaining and informative about the area great to see people who are proud of what they do and value the service they give. The local knowledge is great and we really enjoyed the time they took Great stuff thank you
Really liked the host staff and staff and they take time to listen to you for improvements some visitors put comments about the access and stairs but really it is a graceful building that is reminiscent of days gone by and long may it continue

The breakfast was very good . The location was very close to the centre of Alnwick and the castle. and the staff and were very friendly and helpful, thank you so much for the lovely service you gave us
I cannot say we didn't not like anything , our fault our room was a bit small for 3 nights as we kept changing the dates. Just a couple of minor points which apologies we should have brought up at the time( but in now way spoilt our stay), on booking information it said there is parking provided and you don't need to book , it should say on street parking very close by that is not bookable. The shower we could not use the hot setting as it alternated between either scourching or freezing cold, not middle ground. Just a couple of tweaks and it would have been perfect

The breakfast was very good, the beds were comfortable.
The room was small with not many surfaces to put things. We were under the impression it was private parking but was street parking. The room supplies were not replenished, so no milk for tea on return at end of day out after shops closed Sunday. Hot water tap very stiff to turn on. Shower did not function as it should with a very poor water flow.
