We were impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The room was also very spacious. The location offers convenience and is ideal for exploring the town with it being near to attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it provided great value for money

A good hotel and basically what it says on the tin.
Quite close to Alnwick and certainly good access to the main roads nearby for touring around the area.
Clean, comfortable and quite modern. the rooms were a good size. only a couple of negative comments and that is personal - the room was too warm and I didn't like the pillows although the bed was good.
Wi-fi worked well once accessed.
Food in the hotel was typical pub fare. Reasonable well cooked and a good price. Breakfasts were as you would expect in a buffet "help yourself" style although sometimes the longer its as left out the less appealing it became - notably the fried eggs and bacon.
Service all round was excellent and helpful. Look out for some of the bonus features that are available. We managed to get a free round of drinks by not getting our room made up the next day.
