About this cottage rental
Holly Cottage is the perfect destination; for couples, a romantic short break, a completely relaxing holiday or a fabulous outdoor experience with walking and cycling at your doorstep. In the charming village of Ellastone in the Derbyshire Dales and with easy access to the Peak District, the Staffordshire Moorlands and beautiful countryside beyond.
You will stay in a totally refurbished 17th century cottage which offers a cosy retreat with all the modern luxuries needed for 21st century living. There is dedicated off-road parking for 2 cars right at your door, along with a seating area for alfresco dining.
Our local pub The Duncombe Arms serves superb food and is only a short stroll along the lane from Holly Cottage.
We are pleased to welcome one small well behaved dog, at a small additional charge of £25
Close to the Limestone Way, Tissington Trail, Dovedale and the Manifold Valley.
Alton Towers is only 3 miles away, so you can arrive there early and beat the crowds.
For shopping the delightful market town of Ashbourne is easily accesible.

Lovely, tiny cottage in a beautiful village. Cottage was immaculately clean with very obvious attention paid to the small details. Michele is a friendly, welcoming host and met us at the cottage with the keys. We were visiting relatives in the area and are already looking forward to our next Holly Cottage visit next year.
