At the foot of the Rochecorbon Lantern, with sensational views of the Loire, this property offers a unique troglodyte stay. It includes a kitchen, a living space and a private terrace - and also, linen and towels, general cleaning, wifi, and all taxes.
This troglodyte is located near the top of the hill (access by stairs), offering a secluded and sensational view. This cottage is ideal for two, but can accommodate up to four people with a foldout sofa bed (140cm). It includes a fully equipped kitchen: oven, four-burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine (Tassimo), toaster and kettle, living area with dining table and seating area, bedroom with bed double (160cm), bathroom (ensuite) with Italian shower, private terrace, and garden.
Rochecorbon benefits from the classification in the world heritage of UNESCO, it is 55 mins from Paris by TGV, and Tours airport is 10 minutes. We are close to the A10, easily connecting you to the rest of the Loire and the rest of France.
Whether your stay is long or short, there will always be something to discover and enjoy here in Rochecorbon and the surrounding area.

It was our first time staying in a troglodyte, and it was fun! Our host was very helpful and communicated with us easily, having all of her documents in English. You have to be in shape to access the cave with the steep stairs, but we liked the workout. The views from this place were amazing!

Return visit as with the first one a little difficult for us old fogies ( steep access ) plus steps but well worth for the view.

We checked a very cool box by starting in this adorable troglodyte apartment. The property manager was accommodating and offered great communication, going out of her way to meet us outside so we knew exactly where to go. This is a unique apartment with beautiful views! We would definitely do this again! Highly recommend!

Unique opportunity to stay in a Troglodyte. View is worth the climb. Easily found parking. Great location - used as base to tour the Loire valley. Would stay again if we return to the area.
