About this cottage rental
A one bedroom cottage set in an idyllic location in the New Forest with views of the forest from the garden and bed!
Entrance hall, door to large kitchen with fridge, small freezer, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine. The kitchen opens into the living/dining room which has bi-fold doors on two sides opening into the garden. TV/DVD player, wood burning stove, WIFI and stairs to the bedroom.
The bedroom has velux windows, one above the bed so that you can lie and look at the stars, or look straight ahead to the end window with views of the forest, so peaceful! The ensuite shower room has a really good digital shower with a rainfall shower head. Driveway parking with an Electric Vehicle ChargePoint (7kw type 2).
There's a private enclosed garden with double hammock, swing and furnished summer house. Up to 3 dogs very welcome, with no extra charge (please ask if you have more).
A baby or small child can be accommodated. We have an airbed, travel cot, high chair, booster seat and toys.
The cottage is on the edge of Burley village with walks direct from the door into the forest. Walking into the village takes about 25 minutes and you'll find pubs and a few shops including a grocery shop and butchers. There's also a cycle hire shop and they offer a discount to our visitors who pre-book bikes and delivery to the cottage can be arranged. We now have fibre broadband.
Within 20-30 minutes drive there are numerous beaches as well as lovely Lymington and Bournemouth and Southampton for shopping. Ringwood is our nearest town, 10 minutes drive, with Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Lidl as well as a good butchers and great greengrocers for food.

We took a short break in the New Forest and were so lucky to find this perfect cottage. Was fine for the two of us and our Dog, local walks were spectacular and the village of Burley was within easy reach. We will look forward to going back again. Thank you Sheena, the cottage was thoughtfully and fully equipped, just perfect!

Very pleasant cottage in a great location for touring round the New Forest. Complimentary biccies, milk and nespresso pods on arrival was nice, and the sofa and bed were really comfy. Bedroom/bathroom are lovely rooms but being an attic conversion, its sloping ceilings we're a bit tricky even for me as a woman of average height and quite difficult for my husband of 6ft 1. Garden is "private" but not entirely, because the fencing between the cottage and the adjoining house, which is also let out, isn't particularly thick/high. The parking area to the other side of the house is very definitely shared. A road runs around the property which can also make the garden a bit noisy.

The cottage was perfect for us and our dog. The enclosed sunny garden with comfortable seating was a big plus. Walks and ponies just across the road and a 25 minute walk into Burley village. The cottage itself is very well equipped and has a comfy beds and modern clean shower room. I’d highly recommend this cottage and would definitely book again. Thank you Sheena for your great communication and all the lovely touches you made within the cottage to make our stay a memorable one.

What a beautiful, well maintained and well located cottage.We had a great weekend, lovely Villages and Forest walks and so peaceful.Thank You Sheena for a wonderful break, even a bottle to celebrate our 30th anniversary, I’m sure we’ll be back.Dave and Jo.
