About this cottage rental
This old fisherman's house was completely renovated in 2011, charm and luxurious finishes on all three floors. This is the last but one house on the dock, just in front of two lighthouses in the outer harbor. With its large windows gives you a magnificent sea view from every room, and be grateful to watch the entrances and exit of vessels. This cottage can accommodate two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, or a family with 3 children. Also magnificent view from the kitchen and living room-dining room. His authentic fireplace gives extra warmth to the ambiance of the house, like in open sea but nicely installed on the sofa for windy days.

This is the third time we have stayed at this house. The location is fabulous and the owner is very responsive to inquiries. Some of the furniture cushions could use a refresh. Our only complaint was that we were unable to control the temperature of the main level. The week we stayed was cold and rainy. Sabine turned up the temperature for us remotely, but it never seemed warm enough. The kitchen is well stocked and a washer and dryer was a plus. We love Port en Bessin and look forward to returning.

We enjoyed for our Family Holiday the Apartment for its central location and view to the habour. Much space, well eqipped kitchen and good wifi.

Our stay in Port-en-Bessin was perfect. The house is even nicer than the pictures on vrbo. Everything was as advertised and working with the owner and Carole who met us and gave us our initial tour was flawless even though we do not speak French. The village of Port-en-Bessin is a perfect place to relax with shops and great restraunts within easy walking distance. The location is also a perfect base for other sightseeing in the area.I really can't say enough positive about this house & owner, I would highly recommend to anyone intersted in the lower Normandy area. I almost forgot to mention the stunning sea view right from your front porch! You won't want to leave!
