Nice house in stone and mass, located 2 kilometers from the center of Carentan les Marais and in the heart of the Cotentin marshes. We welcome you in our furnished, newly renovated, all year.
This independent and spacious house of 180 m², for up to 8 people, has on the ground floor, a large living room, a games room, a kitchen, toilet, back kitchen,
Upstairs four bedrooms, one with private shower room, a bathroom with toilet. Bedroom 1-2-3 = bed 140 and bedroom 4 = 2 bed 90.
The facade facing south with views of the marshes and equipped with a large awning, overlooks a small stone terrace along the house, and a private garden of 500 m², closed.
Car parking is under cover under a large car port.
Facilities: Flat screen TV, Washing machine, Dishwasher, Induction hobs, Electric oven and microwave, Fridge, Coffee maker, Toaster, Barbecue, Garden furniture, Pool table
The house is close to downtown Carentan, shops, restaurants, the aquatic center, Haras d'Auvers, the train station and is easily accessible by the Paris-Cherbourg RN 13 road.
Carentan les Marais will make you discover its historical heritage, its marina with its promenade and its lock, the canal bridge, the towpaths, the river ballads in the marshes, the natural regional park of the marshes of Cotentin and Bessin with its Ornithological reserves of the Douves and Beauguillot Bridges.
The house is ideally located to visit the beaches and landing sites and museums, Ste Mother Church, Utah beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Colleville sur Mer, Arromanches.
To the north of the department you can discover: Cherbourg en Cotentin, the city of the sea; at St Vaast la Hougue, the fortifications of Vauban; in the Hague, Jobourg's nose.

Lots of museums villages and beaches within reach. (30-40 mins) Good selection of local restaurants we tried 4 (if menus bit limited) very quiet location ideal if like to relax and peace and quiet nothing within walking distance however

A very pleasant stay with room for the whole family (grandparents, parents and two grandchildren) with everything needed. The pool table proved an unexpected source of evening entertainment.
A quiet, peaceful situation looking out over the marshes, and very convenient for exploring D-Day beaches, memorials and museums, Bayeux, and Normandy food and drink producers.
