About this house rental
The 2-storey traditional stone house is ideally situated in a 2500 sq.m. olive-tree field, just above the village of Afissos in the wonderful mountain of Pelion. Due to its unique location on the side of the mountain, the house is surrounded by breathtaking mountain and sea views that can be enjoyed from the large veranda, the balcony and all around the spacious garden. Here you can have your breakfast or lunch close to the nature and enjoy the sun and the sea lying on the comfortable armchairs.
The property offers 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and additional sleeping space in the large downstairs sitting room. The interior has been lovingly and carefully decorated with a traditional fireplace nad wooden ceilings all over in line with the traditional style of the house, and offers excellent amenities for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, a fridge/freezer, and all kinds of cooking utensils (all utensils as well as the mattresses, sheets etc are new and carefully chosen for their good quality). The benefit of a genuine old stone house is the thickness of its walls (nearly 1m at parts), which keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter.
The location of the house is ideal for all kinds of holiday activities such as swimming, hiking, visiting the traditional villages, old churches and monasteries and enjoying the natural beauty of the famous pelion mountain.
The beautiful beaches of Afissos and Bufa are just 10min. drive from the house. The beautiful villages of Milies and Argalasti can also be reached wthinin 20 min. by car, other famous beaches on the side of the Aegean Sea like Milopotamos or Damouchari are approx. 40min away (all routes offer spectacular views).You can also taste the delicious local cuisine at a square of a traditional village or enjoy fresh fish in a tavern by the sea.
