One of the front desk staff is very unfriendly. She is a blond lady that was assigned on 13 April from morning until evening. Unless Ibis has changed its policy, we were told not to eat on the tables for dinner. At other Ibis (in Strasbourg and Porte d'Italie in Paris) where we have stayed we were allowed to eat with food we bought outside. She even told one of us that he cannot bring his apple to the room. He was told to eat it at the breakfast table. We are paying guests and should not be told or treated the way she did. Since we are Asians it appears this lady is racist. All other front desks staff never told us otherwise. One restaurant staff was very helpful and even gave us bread to take for our train trip to Germany. He was a pleasant and accommodating person. So opposite that racist lady. That lady does not deserve to be assigned at the front desk.
