Just excellent. The apartment overlooks a beautiful lake and it is very peaceful. Ideal location for a family with young children. Easy enough to get into Avignon and Villeneuve.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Maison du Lac. Everything was perfect for us. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, and we loved feeding the Koi Carp from the veranda. Everything about Maison du Lac has been very carefully designed, including the: apartment layouts that ensure they keep cool without air conditioning (although this was available if wanted); stylish large fishpond (visits from a kingfisher were an added bonus!); lovely swimming pool that is long enough for a good swim; and the beautiful grounds. Our host, Peter, was very friendly and helpful.
We travelled to Avignon by train from the NW of the UK and did not hire a car. We walked a lot from Hotel du Lac along peaceful roads to supermarkets etc. and caught the bus into Avignon several times. We also went on a minibus tour of Luberon villages which was an excellent way to see the area without a car.
Overall, an excellent holiday in excellent accommodation. We would definitely stay again and strongly recommend Hotel du Lac to anyone looking for peaceful, relaxed accommodation in the Avignon area.

Peaceful, quiet setting with beautiful views of the pond and surrounding vegetation. The unit had separate kitchen area, sitting area and bedroom, along with a large private terrace overlooking the pond.
