Great views and large room with sea view.
All fine for a small boutique style hotel but only 8 rooms.

Awesome view overlooking the Lynmouth bay from our room, with a private path to the hillside railway and shops and restaurants of Lynton. We stayed in a suite with a lounge area with a sofa and large TV and the hotel has a large selection of DVDs to cosy up to. Our charming host made sure everything was to our satisfaction and we ate at the in house hotel restaurant on the first night. Breakfast was excellently cooked with a choice of cooked breakfasts, cereals, fruit and pastries.
A more extensive menu in the evening would have been nice.

A small hotel with lots of character and charming details. Beautiful views from the patio . Breakfast in or on the patio. Attentive host, very good breakfast with fruit salad, cereal, yoghurt and cooked options. Ideal place to start a walk, virtually on a costal path. Just a short private path to the centre of Lynton, and funicular, if you fancy going down to Lynmouth. Both towns have their charm with unusual shops and places to eat.
