Le Boeuf Couronné - Hôtel & Restaurant Chartres- Logis Hotels

The hotel was very comfortable (albeit my room was small), the staff were welcoming and the service was outstanding. The bar and restaurant staff were very accommodating and the food fantastic. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring Chartres and the secure parking was convenient, just around the corner. I was made to feel at home and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

great location and close parking. the bed was comfortable and the staff welcoming. The breakfast was really good. Excellent scrambled eggs, the best I have eaten in a hotel.

The bedroom smelled of drains. The shower room is small and the space was lacking the welcoming tea/coffee/biscuits and facilities of my next hotel in the uk. (white horse, Dorking). Standards need improving to keep up with modern expectations. I was not shown to my room or helped with bags. Dinner in the restaurant was dreadful. I chose the beef fillet; which most certainly was not fillet as it was full of gristle. Expensive for the quality. I complained to the waitress and nothing was actioned about my complaint. A poor reflection of the professional conduct of the kitchen which further coloured my experience of the hotel.
