Distillery Guest House

The guest house is great for a stay in Fort William and a convenient gateway to the Highlands. It's located not too far from the town centre. Our room was quite spacious with everything working perfectly and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options including hot ones (bacon, sausages etc). Staff was always very friendly and helpful (at check-in and breakfast).

Just minor details: the soap came from Aldi, which is a bit disappointing considering the price of the room, and there are two taps for the bathroom sink, one hot and one cold, which can be an issue for some people.

Lovely stay! Friendly hosts, comfy rooms/beds, super location, reallyyy nice breakfast.

Breakfast was served at 7.30 (I had to leave by 7.15 to catch a train to Glasgow so missed it) The TV didn’t have good signal and channels didn’t work.

Excellent parking facilities and early afternoon check-in. Comfortable bed and good tea making facilities. Our room and en-suite bathroom were spotless. Good, if basic, breakfast.

We were in room 1 and the en-suite bathroom was not great. The bath, with its shower attachment is located under the sloping part of the roof. I am not tall so I just managed to shower but it was extremely awkward for my 6' husband to stand at the highest point of the bath. The shower had no screen or curtain so the floor got soaked every time (we dried it with the floor mat every morning after showering). I insist that this comment only applies to the room we were in and I hope facilities in other rooms were better. And of course if you take baths rather than showers, that would have been fine. The towels provided were quite small.
