Location was great, excellent breakfast. Very comfortable.
Not enough parking spaces. Had to park outside another property further down the road. Walls were thin. We could hear people talking in the next room.

Location of hotel is perfect - few minutes walk into town centre
Room 102 - always been our preferred room - now has no view due to new ducting being erected right outside window.
One particular staff members attitude on phone when they called late one evening to our room to ask us to move our car because it was parked incorrectly!! It was parked over a line because the car next to us was the same and then we were right beside a motorbike - whilst we had been out for our evening meal the vehicles beside us had moved but as we had also enjoyed alcohol whilst out we couldn't move this - my husband explained this three times on the phone before the answer was OK and the phone put down!!!!! There is an overspill carpark along the road, which I hope was explained in a better manner than what we received from the receptionist to anyone who had been in complaining because they couldn't get one space in the main car park!! As we have been told in the past when we also couldn't get parked!!
We have been coming to The Cruachan for the past four years on our annual February trip but the disappointed we felt this year has made it our last at The Cruachan!!! Especially after what we paid!!!
Our room also wasn't cleaned at all in the four nights we stayed 🤢 we were out all Saturday till late afternoon - no cleaner, Sunday we chose not to have room done because of the weather but then Monday again we were out all day and still nothing!!! We brought this to the receptionists attention when we returned because by this time we had ran out of toilet roll!!! We were offered clean towels etc at this point but for a four night stay this is very poor - I understand turn around are important but so are existing guests and maybe more cleaners are required if the current ones can't cope with the workload.....
Very disappointed this trip and we won't be returning to this hotel when we return to Fort William next February.....
