The owner was friendly and helpful
Very noisy on a main road. Bed not that comfortable. Eggs at breakfast and croissants were tasteless. The photos on bookings.com show a dining room with pictures of food. In fact you can't get dinner unless you give 48 hours notice. This is really a B&B not a hotel. The pictures are misleading.

Nice small and quiet. Very easy to find with easy parking. Near to everything in Axninster. Breakfast nice. All staff friendly and welcoming. Very nice breakfast and coffee

Room was pleasant, beautiful sunset views
As much as we love dogs, there is a very strong dog smell as you enter the house and my breakfast came with a few dog hairs, which unfortunately put me off eating it (the service and the coffee was great though)
More of a guest house than a hotel.
